Rihlah is an app for tracking your travel budget, solo or together with travel mates. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account: your e-mail address, or your Apple ID (your name is only shared on the very first Apple sign-in, never again after that).
• Trip data: trips you create (name, budget, dates, currency) and expenses you log (amount, category, description, date, payment method).
• Sharing with travel mates: if you share a trip via an invite code, your travel mates can see that trip's data and expenses (not your other trips).

What we don't do

• No ads, no ad tracking.
• No selling data to third parties.
• No location tracking.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL-based database infrastructure), hosted in the EU (West EU / Paris, eu-west-3).

How long we keep data

For as long as you have an account. You can delete your account and all associated data via Settings in the app. [TODO: link once the "delete account" feature is live].

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time via the contact page.
